Emilie was born and raised in Canberra where she completed a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Canberra. She then moved to Brisbane to complete her Masters of Speech Pathology Studies at the University of Queensland.
Before moving to Brisbane, Emilie spent a year in Greeley, Colorado as an exchange student which opened her eyes to American Sign Language. This, along with her innate passion for helping people, is what initially sparked her interest in the area of Speech Pathology.
Emilie has had experience working with all ages across the lifespan from early intervention to aged care, but has a special interest in the areas of speech, early language, paediatric feeding/dysphagia, and orofacial myofunctional therapy.
In her spare time, you can find Emilie playing soccer or touch rugby league, or hiking around the Glasshouse Mountains.
