Georgie grew up in Canberra, ACT and completed her postgraduate studies at the University of Melbourne. Georgie first became interested in Speech Pathology through working with people at the Royal Childrenโs Hospital. Blending her love of the creative arts, sciences and working with people, becoming a โspeechyโ was a natural fit!
Georgie has worked in the public education and private sectors, supporting children and their families in the areas of speech, language, literacy and social communication, to name a few. Georgie has a particular interest in Autism Spectrum Disorders, Early Intervention, speech sound disorders and literacy development. In her spare time, you can find Georgie tending to her veggie patch, riding her bike, or attempting to climb the nearest rockface.
