Kellsie grew up in Singapore and moved to Perth in 2017 to pursue Speech Pathology.
Her interest in Speech Pathology was piqued after her brother shared his experiences in Audiology and Speech Pathology. Kellsie started her journey as a Speech Pathology Assistant in a hospital in Singapore and went on to volunteer with the deaf at the 5th World Federation of the Deaf Asia Conference. These experiences fortified her passion for Speech Pathology and helped her commiserate with clients on a deeper level.
Repeatedly told that she has a natural ability to interact well with the elderly and the young, coupled with a willing heart to make an actual difference in the lives of others, and a personal interest in speech, language and swallowing, Speech Pathology felt natural to Kellsie.
Kellsie prides herself on her patience and adaptability, especially when considering therapy in a holistic manner. Having lived in a multi-cultural city for most of her life, Kellsie is competent in adapting her communication style based on cultural, linguistic and social factors.
When Kellsie isnโt working, you can find her at the beach with her cute Cavoodle, Harvey, trying new foods, rejuvenating with Pilates, or listening and playing the piano.
