Lyndal was born and raised in a rural town in Central West New South Wales before making a sea change to Newcastle where she completed a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Hons) at the University of Newcastle.
As a new graduate Lyndal took a deep dive into all things rural and remote health moving to a rural town in South-West Queensland where her passion for bridging the gap between health services and accessibility grew further. Lyndal is very passionate about working with these families to deliver quality services no matter how far away from their nearest health centre they are.
Lyndal has had experience working with all ages across the lifespan from early intervention to aged care and has experience working with both children and adults with disability. Lyndal is trained in Sounds- Write literacy intervention, and has a keen interest in orofacial myofunctional therapy, speech sound disorders and dysphagia/feeding.
In her spare time, you can find Lyndal embracing the country lifestyle camping, waterskiing (or at least providing moral support for the actual waterskiers), or trying out any sport/activity under the sun to fill her social cup.
